The meal kit
Everything you need for a delicious six-course Indian feast, complete with easy-to-follow instructions on how to heat, plate and present for a truly impressive dining experience.

The food
Inspired by some of the restaurant’s best-loved delicious dishes from the past two decades, the six-course anniversary menu begins with a moreish selection of Singh’s award-winning canapés. The Bengali beetroot cake with Kasundi ketchup is a revelation and, despite paying close attention, our attempts to recreate this delicacy afterwards have been fruitless so far. Singh’s succulent sandalwood tandoori chicken breast with coriander chutney came next, alongside the mouth-watering tandoor spiced grilled prawns with curried yoghurt. Then, for the main event, the tamarind glazed duck breast served with Hyderbadi salan, pumpkin chutney and a delicious peanut crumble was a real treat and every bit as delicious as we’ve tasted in the physical restaurant. We also enjoyed the gilded whole lamb leg ‘Raan’ with nutmeg and peppercorn sauce alongside 24-hour cooked black lentils, biryani rice, and aromatic saffron sheermal bread.

Anyone who has ever eaten at The Cinnamon Club will likely have sampled its delicious mango shrikhand – a silky smooth yoghurt topped with Rasmalai sauce, gulab jamun and pistachio. Brummell was delighted that this spectacular pud has made its way to the anniversary meal kit. Followed with a steaming mug of turmeric chai and a delicate selection of dark chocolate truffles with green cardamom, ginger and rose petals blended into a white chocolate ganache from chocolatier Paul A Young, this is one feast that is going to be difficult to beat.

The verdict
This anniversary meal kit is proof that whether you’re in the restaurant or tucking into The Cinnamon Club’s signature dishes at home, Vivek’s creations are Singhing to win! Anyone who is already a fan will be delighted to get their Cinnamon Club fix at home and newbies will happily add themselves to the waiting list for a table once the physical restaurant opens up again. See you in the queue.
