Cut a dash: Dashing Tweeds

Modern tweed gets an innovative redesign with Dashing Tweed’s new Navy Raver ‘Lumatwill’ reflective fabric

Tweed is the original sportswear fabric of Great Britain, but it doesn’t only have to be worn for country pursuits. Founded with the aim of giving men a greater – and more fun – choice of tweed fabrics, Dashing Tweeds is modernising cloths by combining technical yarns with wools to bring colour, texture and innovation back to traditional tailored sportswear.

Designed with urban cycling in mind, the innovative Cycle Blazer is tailored in Navy Raver ‘Lumatwill’ reflective tweed, which shows up at night by headlight beams. It also features a reflective flap formed by the double vent, which buttons up to the body of the jacket and also provides some protection from dirt flicked up by the rear wheel.
