On 23 January, Dalloway Terrace will welcome renowned Gstaad chef Marcel Reist, from the critically acclaimed Hotel Bernerhof, for an exclusive takeover.
Formerly of the world-famous Palace Gstaad, and the Michelin-star-awarded Grand Hotel Bellevue Gstaad, Reist will offer guests the opportunity to experience an authentic Swiss five-course supper club with the magical backdrop of the terrace.
The meal will include beef fillet and ragout with herb-spiced Alpine potatoes, marinated salmon with wasabi cream and, of course, a raclette and fondue featuring the finest Swiss cheeses. A selection of exclusive Swiss wines will also be available on the night.
Dalloway Terrace has been transformed for the winter season, offering a taste of Switzerland in the heart of London. Visitors are transported to the affluent Alpine town of Gstaad – a snow-covered, picturesque winter playground for A-listers.
Described as ‘One of the world’s most Instagrammable restaurants’, the terrace’s new incarnation sets a beautiful winter scene in the snowy Alps, complete with snow-drenched pine garlands and traditional Swiss cow bells nestled among frosty foliage.
Gstaad was once described by Dame Julie Andrews as ‘The last paradise in a crazy world’ and in the past the powdery slopes have been frequented by superstars such as Sir Roger Moore and Elizabeth Taylor. It is, however, still a destination with its roots firmly entrenched in village life and prides itself on retaining a genuine Alpine feel. Dalloway Terrace has fully embraced this side of Gstaad as part of its winter transformation, honouring the mantra of the Swiss town: ‘Come up, slow down’.
Tickets are available for the 5-8pm, and the 8.30-11.30pm sittings, £60 per person; dallowayterrace.com
