Vilebrequin has been known for its refined yet playful swimwear ever since its founder Fred Prysquel produced his first pair of swimming shorts in St Tropez in 1971, to impress a woman who lived there.
For its new summer collection the brand has partnered with fashion designer, artist and recently-appointed creative director of United Colors of Benetton, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, to create a line inspired by the story of seduction at the heart of Vilebrequin.
Focused on womenswear, the sportswear-infused line features athletic one-pieces with zip detailing, trompe-l’oeil bikinis, and sundresses, all embodying de Castelbajac’s vibrant approach to design. For men, a range of printed swim shorts, Hawaiian shirts and accessories are sure to make you stand out among even the most stylish beachgoers.
