Cruise on the Mekong

Cruise specialist Mekong Kingdoms has added a new vessel to its first-class fleet to sail the Mekong River between the ancient Laos capital of Luang Prabang and Chiang Saen in Thailand’s Golden Triangle.

The spacious 41-metre, two-cabin cruiser, Gypsy, has two al-fresco lounge areas, a panoramic deck and wooden-panelled bedrooms adorned with Thai silks, covered by traditional thatch and flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows so you can enjoy all of Asia’s beautiful scenery as you sail.

Enjoy food from the cruiser’s own chef, soak in the local culture with excursions and stop-offs along the way and indulge in on-board activities including yoga and weaving.

$5,450 (approx. £4,246) for a three-night cruise for up to four guests, including meals, transfers, excursions and on-board activities; mekongkingdoms.com
