Back for good: Pimm's No.6 Vodka Cup
Created in 1964, Pimms No 6 ‘Vodka Cup’ is the lighter, crisper and lower-sugar cousin to the gin-based original. When it was announced the drink would be ‘de-listed’ in 2014, there was uproar in private members’ clubs nationwide, where the tipple had become a favourite.
Now Pimms is bringing the No 6 out of retirement, just in time for the summer sporting calendar, in VIP areas at Jockey Club racecourses across England, and at the Wimbledon Championships. It will also be more widely available in London’s cocktail bars and fine drinking establishments.
