Belstaff Riders Field Watch

During both World Wars, dispatch riders had the important task of delivering urgent messages between command headquarters, riding through war zones, coming under enemy fire and sleeping rough.

Their coats needed to be functional and extremely durable, and the most distinctive feature of the dispatch riders’ coat was tilted map pockets on the chest for ease of access while riding – a design detail still seen in Belstaff’s collections today.

The new Belstaff Riders Field Watch designed by Nick Munro is inspired by these wartime coats, featuring a scratch-resistant sapphire dome, stainless steel case and hand-waxed leather strap. Each limited-edition watch case will be numbered one of 500.
